The wedding of Meghan Markle to Prince Harry is probably the most anticipated wedding in the world. They have been engaged since November 2017, and this has brought up a fresh round of gossip and fairytale fantasies to the general public. Harry claimed to have known that Meghan was “the one” since they first met. Therefore, it seemed like an adorable beginning for the new royal couple. The wedding will take place on Saturday 19th May 2018 at St. George’s Chapel and no doubt the eyes of the world will be watching this happy couple take the next step in their relationship. This definitely will be the most memorable celebrity wedding in 2018 as a result of their royal title.

Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie
Fans of the hit show will recognise Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie as Jon Snow and Ygritte from HBO’s Game of Thrones. Not only did their characters have a steamy relationship on screen but that chemistry spilt out into the real world. The couple began dating in 2012 and announced their engagement in 2017 with a forthcoming marriages ad in the Times newspaper. During an interview with Jonathon Ross, Kit hinted that the wedding would be taking place sometime in 2018, mentioning how the schedule for the next season of Game of Thrones was to be altered to ensure that all cast would be able to attend.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas
Love and marriage are certainly in the air on the Game of Thrones set! Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the hit TV series, accepted her musician boyfriend’s proposal in October 2017. They had been dating for a year before Joe proposed, and have cemented their relationship by adopting a Siberian Husky puppy.

Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith
Singer Mandy Moore announced her engagement to Dawes’ member, Terry Goldsmith, in September 2017. Although Mandy has insisted she’s not interested in the big white dress or the chaos of the wedding itself, she does want it to happen as soon as possible. She told E! News, “I don’t need to wait, I don’t need to have a long engagement. I’m not planning some giant, lavish affair. So I might as well just do it.”

This is a wedding that has already happened this year. The 2013 Super Bowl Champion tied the knot with long-term girlfriend, Ashley Moss, in a ceremony in the beautiful Dominican Republic. On Instagram, Sherman thanked everyone who was there to share the moment with him.

In a 2017 interview with Ocean Drive magazine, Ricky claimed that he hoped to marry his man in early 2018. “Planning a wedding is super overwhelming,” he declared. “We want to do it right, hopefully, next spring. We’ll do the three-day event, as I call it. And we still don’t know where we will do it – Los Angeles, Puerto Rico or in Sweden, where my fiance is from, or in Spain, where I am also from.” If Ricky and Jwan get their wish, their wedding should be creeping closer over the horizon.
