Buns Causing a Stir at Liverpool Fashion Week

Running from 2nd-5th October 2017, Liverpool Fashion Week is the most influential fashion show outside of London. The show launches more designers than any other city outside of the capital. Many models are scouted for international TV and magazine work. Liverpool Fashion Week really does create fashion history.

Roberts Bakery

Family-owned bakery brand, Roberts Bakery, took part in Liverpool Fashion Week. The 130-year-old bakery takes a completely original twist on baking and they like to embrace new ideas.

The bakery is a family-run business. They’ve been baking since Robert Roberts founded the business in 1887. Having grown from being a little town bakery to a much bigger family bakery, they now feed hundreds of families across England and North Wales. Therefore, the company often bakes up to around 3.5 million loaves every single week.

Community is hugely important to them. They’re always up for new ways to get involved in the local community. And Liverpool Fashion Week was the perfect opportunity to get involved!

As well as innovative baking techniques, Roberts Bakery has exciting promotions too! The bakery hired our hunky butlers to join the bakery’s fun and innovative ‘bun squad’. So, our cheeky lads wore Robert’s Bakery’s aprons and had their bums painted. They painted one cheek with the company’s logo and the other with a bun. Our gorgeous boys definitely added cheek and charm to showcase the bakery’s uniqueness. They also looked the part as sexy chefs, marching around the city with the bakery’s gin and tonic buns!
