Hen Party Games

This is Pin the Tail on the Donkey for grown-ups. Each player is blindfolded and has to stick the missing part onto a poster of a male torso, as near to the right spot as she can manage.

You’ll need to buy the game kit yourselves before the party.

1. Fix the poster of the male torso to a wall or a door.
2. Blindfold whoever is up first and check she can’t peek.
3. Turn her round a couple of times.
4. Hand her a willy sticker and walk her to the poster.
5. Whoever gets her sticker closest to where it belongs is the winner.

A test of how well the bride really knows the groom, and the other way round.

It needs sorting out in advance. Somebody has to get the groom to answer the questions before the party, and 15 to 20 questions is about right.

1. The butler reads the hen a question the groom has already answered.
2. A correct answer lets her choose someone in the group to drink a shot.
3. A wrong answer means the shot is hers, taken from a glass or off the butler’s body.

Beer pong with better drinks. Land a ball in the other team’s glass and they have to drink it.

You’ll need ping pong balls, Prosecco or shots, and ideally one glass or cup per player.

1. Line up the same number of glasses at each end of a table.
2. Pour your drink of choice into each one until it’s half full.
3. Divide the group into two teams.
4. Teams take turns throwing a ball down the table at the other side’s glasses. If one lands in a glass of yours, you drink it.
5. When the game ends, the team with more glasses still standing wins.

A relay race where the baton is a cucumber and hands aren’t allowed. Teams pass it down the line using only their legs, and it has to arrive in one piece.

Cucumbers are all you need.

1. Make two teams and have each stand in a line.
2. The player at the front of each line starts with the cucumber gripped between her legs.
3. Drop it and it goes back to the start of the line. No cheating.
4. The first team to get its cucumber to the end of the line wins.

Each player has to burst a balloon between herself and the butler, using whatever bedroom moves she can come up with. The quicker the better.

Balloons are the only kit required.

1. Divide into two teams.
2. Give every player a balloon.
3. Players use their best Kama Sutra moves with the butler to pop their balloon.
4. The team that pops the most balloons wins.

One player is blindfolded and has to find a plaster hidden somewhere on the butler, against the clock.

You’ll need a blindfold and some plasters or stickers.

1. Blindfold the first player and make sure she can’t see.
2. Another member of the group sticks a plaster or sticker somewhere on the butler’s body. She can be kind about it or not, and it’s usually not.
3. The blindfolded player then has to find it as quickly as she can.
4. Have someone time each turn. The slowest player gets a forfeit, chosen by the butler.
