Hen Party Cocktail Class Bradford
Bradford hen parties rarely stay in one place. The night out is usually in Leeds, the cottage is often in Haworth or Ilkley, and the afternoon might be spent round Salts Mill in Saltaire. A cocktail class is the part that happens wherever you’re actually staying.
How the session runs
- Your mixologist gets in touch 5 to 10 minutes before they reach you, then rings from outside. Keep a phone switched on.
- Setting up takes 20 to 30 minutes, which is why they come early. They’ll need a private room to change in first.
- The class itself is two hours. Each person makes and drinks three cocktails, with games to break it up.
- It closes with a team contest to see who can make the best cocktail.
- Glasses, spirits, mixers, fruit, decorations, ice and equipment are all theirs, so you buy none of it.
Pricing starts at £35 a head with a minimum of 10. Smaller parties are fine; they’re charged for 10 and get the drinks for 10.
Stone terraces, steep streets and cottages on cobbles
This is hill country, and the housing shows it. In Bradford itself and in Shipley, Bingley and Saltaire, groups are mostly in stone terraces, many with steps up to the front door. Saltaire’s streets are tight, with parking on the road only. Haworth’s Main Street is steep and cobbled, so a cottage there may mean unloading at the top or bottom and carrying things in. Ilkley has larger Victorian houses with drives, which are easier.
Tell us about steps and where the nearest parking is. A big dining table is the best surface, and a kitchen counter is a fair substitute. Holiday cottages and rented houses need the owner’s agreement, and the class has to be held out of public view.

The mixologist comes out to you across West Yorkshire. Shipley, Saltaire, Bingley, Keighley, Haworth, Ilkley, Halifax, Pudsey and Leeds city centre are all part of the area we work in.
York is covered too, as are Dales villages such as Grassington and Malham. Whichever it is, the instant quote bases the price on the postcode.

Before Leeds, or instead of it
Leeds is a short train ride from either Bradford station, and Bradford’s own North Parade has a cluster of independent bars. A class from four till six leaves time for a curry before the train, which in Bradford is no hardship.
Expect Mojitos and Pina Coladas unless you’ve asked for something else. Send requests at least 14 days ahead. Pornstar and Espresso Martinis cost £2.50 extra per cocktail and Long Island Iced Tea £5 extra.

Yes, as long as there’s somewhere nearby to park and unload safely. Tell us where, and expect a call from the mixologist when they’re outside.
What if the weather on the tops holds the mixologist up on the way to Haworth or Ilkley?
Build in a spare hour beyond the finish time. A late start doesn’t shorten the class, which still runs for two hours.
The cottage owner wants to know what’s involved. What do we tell them?
That a mixologist will run a two-hour cocktail class at the table, in private, bringing all their own equipment and glasses. We need the owner’s permission, so you’re right to ask.
