Hen Party Life Drawing Blackpool
Most hen parties in Blackpool stay in a hotel or guest house near the promenade and not in a rented house, which changes the first question from what to do to where to do it. Life drawing needs one private room. Once that’s sorted, the model brings the materials and runs the class.
One model, two halves
The class is 90 minutes long, though you can book two hours instead for another £50. In the first half, a male model poses nude for the group to draw, working through three or four poses over 45 minutes. He leads it himself, there’s no art tutor, and nobody is marked on the results. If nude isn’t right for your group, he can stay partly clothed.
He then changes into butler attire and spends the remaining 45 minutes as your Buff Butler. That means serving your drinks, hosting party games, judging the drawings to pick a favourite and lining up for group photos.
Drawing materials for up to 20 guests are included, meaning A4 paper, pencils, rubbers and sharpeners. The price is from £15 per person, based on a group of up to 20.
Finding a private room on the seafront
Seafront hotels vary a lot, but the likely options are a function room or the largest family room among your bookings. A function room is easier, as long as the door shuts, other guests can’t wander through and nobody can see in from the bar or the street. Ask the hotel before you book, since the venue isn’t included and has to be arranged by you. In a family room, stand the model in the clearest bit of floor and seat people on the beds and chairs in a rough circle. Sea-facing windows give good light. Close the nets or blinds anyway. Tables are scarce in hotel bedrooms, so bring books or trays to lean on.

Traffic along the front is slow on those evenings. Leave an hour free after the planned finish, and your class still runs its full length if he’s held up, it just starts and finishes later.
